As many of you know my beautiful granddaughter Violet Sunshine was born with Down Syndrome, So she is guaranteed to be the light of our lives. This unfortunately comes with differing health problems. She has a heart defect (AV Canal) and will require open heart surgery. She has several trials ahead of her but she is fat and happy and beautiful. I am starting this page to try and keep everyone updated and to let family and friends give the help they've been offering. Violet's doctors are in St. Louis, MO which is about a 2 hour trip each way. We have found the cost of getting to, staying and just having something to eat while there is way more than we would ever have imagined.
