Never thought I’d be making one of these for myself.... Hi my name is Dolores Dyan Rodriguez. I was born here in Mcallen. I have two beautiful children Hailey (2) and Dominic (1). I have a very supportive Fiancé who has been working overtime to help me get where i am today. I go to Cosmetology school Monday-Friday. And Hector works in Louisiana to take care of us.
To the people that don’t know what’s going on, let me give you a little insight. I had a procedure done 03/19/18. He found a tumor and said it looked cancerous. Actually he said he’s pretty sure. He wants to make sure that i hasn’t spread into my abdominal and chest area before he goes in to take it out. So Wednesday I’m supposed to be getting a catscan to see where we are. I’ve been suffering with this since October and thought the issue would go away. Little did i know that it was a problem in its own. The pain has only gotten worse and harder to ignore.
I posted recently that i don’t have insurance, which means he’s paying for everything out of pocket. i tried purchasing two different insurances this last week and they both ended up not being able to help with the procedure, after saying it would be covered 100%. Which made me not want to go through with it, because of the amount Hector was going to have to pay upfront. But he said no, that he’ll take care of the money, and the God will take care of the results. He’s been so good to me with all of this, that I’m stressing because in order to get this catscan we are going to have to pay upfront, and if they don’t find anything else, they will go in and remove the tumor and financially I’m stressing out. We won’t know yet until we get the catscan if it has spread. A lot of you have reached out to me and asked if there was anything you could help me with, and i think this is what we need help with the most. Along with your prayers of course.
