Help John and His Family Fight Leukemia!

John and his wife Lydia have lived in Merrimack, New Hampshire for over 30 years and raised three beautiful children, Allison, Steve and John. In the summer of 2013, after several months of fatigue, John went to the hospital. He was given blood transfusions after test results indicated that he had internal bleeding. Further testing was done which led to John being diagnosed with a rare cancer, Acute Myaloid Leukemia. Over the past several months, John and Lydia have had to drive to and from Mass General Hospital in Boston dozens of times, which is an hour away from their home in New Hampshire. Recently, John has received a bone marrow transplant and is currently staying at Mass General Hospital. He is expected to return home in a few weeks where his activity will be very restricted. Thankfully, he is on the long road to recovery.

John and his wife Lydia, for anyone who knows them, would never ask for much. They are always putting others needs before their own. After years of hard work they were looking forward to the next chapter in their life, retirement. Unfortunately due to John's battle and the unforeseen medical expenses, that has been put on hold.
