Tina Marie’s Road To Recovery

Hello Family & friends, My name is Michael De Venezia, and I am Tina Sanchez’s son. On February 25th 2018 My mom had a terrible accident. Her fall caused her spinal cord to go into spinal shock & she broke her neck. The fall also damaged her teeth. She was taken to the hospital with paralysis in her arms and legs. Immediate surgery was performed to repair and replace discs and relieve the pressure off her spinal cord. The surgery was a success. Mom spent 7 days in ICU before being moved to a rehabilitation center for 7 days Due to insurance reasons. Mom was sent home with a rental hospital bed & wheel chair to continue her rehab. Mom requires 24 hour home care. She has made excellent progress and is a walking miracle, although a very long road ahead. Her 24 hr home care, medical co-pays and deductibles, & dental work has caused financial hardship. I’m creating this account to make it easier for all of you who have asked for the address or have asked how you can help. Please don’t feel obligated to donate. We are just trying to help my mom & stepdad Rich who is working 12/14 hour days to keep up daily bills alone. We truly appreciate and thank you all during this hard time.
