MI All-Star Select Side Rugby Team

“Saturday’s A Rugby Day!” Hello to All reading this! The members of the Senior All-Star Select Side is made of strong women from rugby clubs across the state. We hail from all corners, farms, cities, towns, villages, universities, school districts, lakes, valleys, mounts, and beaches of Michigan. We enjoy the humid summer nights of fireflies and we survive the near-arctic winter snowins. While we play for our local clubs throughout the normal seasons, we come together, for this team, as skilled rugby players who are honored to wear our peninsular state on our chests. Why We Need Your Help: Unfortunately, due to a perceived lack of interest, this year, the Michigan Rugby Union did not allocate any funds to this team. This is the main reason why we’re asking for your help so last-minute. We are eager to show that Michigan women are ready to give our hearts and souls on the pitch for this beautifully unique state. What we need: Your generous contributions will make the dreams of representing the Mitten on the rugby pitch a reality. In the interest of transparency, the specific places we need help include: jerseys, hotel costs, and team registration fees.
