The Anna-Marie Soldo-Peralo Fund

On November 12th 2017 Anna-Marie Soldo-Peralo lost her battle with breast cancer. Anna-Marie was a truly remarkable women loved by everyone who knew her. What made her so remarkable was her compassionate caring nature and complete selflessness. Anna-Marie was well known for her generosity contributing both funds and especially her time to the causes she loved. Throughout her life Anna-Marie was always most concerned with those who could not care for themselves. Her passion was helping children and animals. Throughout her life Anna-Marie tirelessly prepared food to be donated to local food charities. During holidays she would often cook three turkeys daily and bring them to food shelters. Weekends were often spent donating her time cooking her food for local charities and school fundraisers. Anna-Marie also spent much of her time raising money for fundraisers and charities aimed toward the education of children.During holidays Anna-Marie would make sure no child went without a gift. During the Christmas season she would travel to every post office and fire house taking all the names and wishes of children. She would then buy not only the gift but also clothing and food for the families. She was known to travel two hours to schools in the Bronx N.Y. with garbage bags filled with gifts. Her greatest concern was making sure no one was forgotten. When a planes crash took the lives of sixteen marines from the Stewart Air Base in New York Anna-Marie organized catering donations and cooked for the marines friends and family during services at Stewart. Anna-Marie’s love also extended to the most helpless. She would feed and care for hundreds of abandoned animals during her lifetime. She would often feed and shelter thirty to forty abandoned cats and kittens daily. She tirelessly worked to place many of these animals in safe homes.Donations made toward The Anna-Marie Soldo-Peralo Fund will be used for continuing Anna-Marie’s legacy of care and giving. The funds will also be used for the education of women for the prevention of breast cancer.
