The $5 Christmas Challenge

It's Christmas time, and several of us our blessed enough to spoil our children, nieces, nephews, grandchildren etc. But sadly there are children whose parents have fallen on hard times, who won't get the magic of waking up Christmas morning to presents under a tree. That is why we, the Admins of Garden City, Wayne & Westland Crime & Information and Tri-City Crime and Information Alerts challenge you to donate just $5 to help a family this Holiday Season. Between the 2 groups we have over 10,000 members. If even 500 of you donate just $5 (you can donate more if youd like) we could raise enough money to give 25-50 local children a Magical Christmas morning.
When you donate, we want you to challenge others to donate who are also in our groups. Tag your neighbor, your friend from high school, your co-worker, your friends in the group. Challenge them on Your own page.
If you don't want to donate cash but still want to help, you can always donate a new, unwrapped toy. You could drop it off to one of us, or if any local business would like to help, we could possibly find a local business who will accept donations for us. (Local Businesses, feel free to reach out to us)

Right now our Goal is to hit $2500 by December 20th. That gives you 12 Days to Answer our Challenge and to challenge those on and off our page. We will be updating a donation total as they come in on GoFundMe.
Some families have reached out to us on our page already. We will only be helping families who have not received Christmas help from any other charitable organization at this time. If you know a local family (Garden City, Westland and Wayne) in need please reach out to one of our admins and nominate them. This is not a gurantee we can help them, but we will try our best.
