My father, Urbano Atkinson, passed away on March 3rd, and it has left behind a void in our lives both emotionally and financially. My Momma has applied for the benefits that she is entitled to (social security, Dad's military disability, Dad's retirement), but government applications take forever and the bills aren't stopping in the meantime.
My dad left behind an infrastructure that is going to take care of Momma in the long run, but for now the late notices are already piling up and big companies don't believe in bereavement grace periods or anything like that. If you are able to, and if you want to, my Momma needs some some assistance here in an urgent way.
