The Powderly Family has been again challenged with a fight they will win.... with our help!
Amber, Jim, and Demi are a beautiful, hard working, American Dream of a family. When Amber and Jim met, Amber had just been diagnosed with cancer (sarcoma). Amber fought back with chemo, radiation, and surgery. Jim was by her side through it all. Against all odds, Amber kicked cancer's rear. In the face of adversity, they got married and welcomed a beautiful little miracle baby into their family. Their Daughter Demi is a bouncing, 6 month bundle of perfection. Amber returned to working full time as a pediatric dental hygienist; helping kids every day. Jim went back to being the very intelligent, albeit nerdy, CPA that we all know, trust, and love.
Recently, Amber was handed another challenge by the big guy, a cancer relapse in her lungs. She has fought back with bilateral lung surgery already and is forging a path to victory as we speak. If you have the pleasure of knowing her, she is a stick of dynamite doused in southern sweet tea. Wayyy out of Jim's league (sorry Jim we had to sneak that in) Cancer doesn't stand a chance.
That being said, this stuff is really expensive to beat. They would never ask for any help by themselves but that is where we come in. Let's blow Jim's CPA mind with the amount of money that we can put in their cancer war chest!!
