Portland Youth Builders is a non-profit organization committed to providing long term support for low-income youth. Each year, they provide education, vocational training, and leadership development services for over 200 people between the ages of 17 and 24.
In a year of COVID-19, communities are struggling to feed their families. This fundraiser will help raise the funds needed to feed more than 60 families who are currently enrolled with Portland Youth Builders. For a lot of low-income families money is running out and the upcoming holiday season will be a struggle. Providing relief in small ways such as a warm meal can go a long way in supporting their health.
All funds will go to creating boxes of food for families and will be handed out for Thanksgiving. Any additional funds raised will help feed more families in the local community who have been impacted by COVID-19.
