For those of you who know me, know my son JAMIE and his journey of a serious disease, “CHRONIC PANCREATITIS”. 5 yrs ago this nightmare started as he was airlifted to Geisenger Hospital and put on life support immediately. Since then, he has had many more diagnosis added: sugar diabetes, chronic pain syndrome, cirrhosis of liver, uncontrolled weight loss, chronic back pain and depression. He is on many meds such as insulin, creon, ones that try to keep him from being nauseated, anti-depressants,pain meds and ones that he was just prescribed. His medicine alone costs between $3,000-4,000.00 a month. He has been on MEDICARE which took care of him financially, meaning doctors visits, hospital tests, medicines, car payments, gas, etc. Every 3 years you are reviewed, but somehow this year, the doctor , who hadn’t been the one to see him in a yr, seemed to think he could work. This is in an appeal as we speak. The poor guy doesn’t have enough energy to even talk on the phone. However, he has contacted his CONGRESSMAN FOR SULLIVAN COUNTY!! We have started this to help JAMIE financially and mentally month by month until his appeal is heard and approved, which we know it will be. We THANK YOU ALL from our hearts for whatever you donate. It’s not the amount, it’s the thought and the LOVE♥️♥️P.S. The picture was of JAMIE 3 years ago. Since then he has lost 50+ pounds. For those questioning his addiction, please don’t let that stop you from donating. I will be in charge of the money and only appropriating the funds as needed.
