Medical Attention For Ax

Donation protected
Update: Ax finally visited Auburn University where they ran several test, X-Rays, & MRIs. They found several masses near his shoulder blade, spine & neck. Several which were very close to nerves. He is finally done with the 6 hour surgery by the best specialist available for this type of surgery, and so far very lucky they were able to save his leg. They should receive the biopsy results within a few weeks. This surgery cost around $6,000. Not to mention the $3,000 in bills from the initial visits and the follow up treatment to come. Any support would mean the world to us and Ax. He has been a trouper through this and will soon feel relief and be able to walk again!

Ax is a 7 year old rescued German Shepherd in need of some specialized medical treatment. Through generous foster care, Ax has found his forever home where he is spoiled and well taken care of! However, he has an injury with an unknown cause that needs some urgent attention. He is unable to walk on his front leg and the vets are struggling to figure out why. Dozens of test, x-rays, a cast, $3050 and 5 vets later...Ax has been referred to the Auburn University Vet School. We know he will be in the best hands in the country here; however, that comes with some extensive cost. They’re estimating around $5,000 for the initial treatment and test. Any donation to help this beautiful & loving boy will go a long way in supporting his treatment.
