Passing the hat for Michael

As many of you know, my brother Mick was severly beaten and robbed on the weekend just 200m from home by a group of young men, who broke his jaw in several places, fractured his temple and smashed his teeth in.

Michael only started his full time contract at work recently and so has no sick leave or annual to support him while he's in hospital and when he's recovering at home, and so is on leave without pay till he can get back to work.

That's why I'm passing around the virtual hat for Michael, to offer some support so he can pay rent for the next couple of weeks.
