Support for Easton Demers

Baby Easton was admitted to Galisano Children’s Hospital in Syracuse on February 15, 2018. He was not keeping anything down and was losing weight. After 19 long days in the hospital (2 hours from home) several trips to the OR for feeding tube placements, and medication to help with pyloric spasms, they were finally able to care for Easton in the comfort of their new home. Less than a day later, they packed there bags and traveled back to Galisano because he needed a new feeding tube placement. After a long 3 days, they were discharged again and are currently taking care of Easton at home - waiting to hear what his next step will be. Meanwhile, they are also planning a trip to the Boston’s Children’s Hospital for a second opinion.
There is still a long journey ahead. The feeding tube remains and several tests and hospital visits are in the near future. They still don’t have the answers they want but hopefully will soon.
The good news is Easton is home and has a big sister, Ella, to help mommy and daddy. He is such a trooper!!!! And so are his parents ❤️
Megan is currently on FMLA (leave without pay) and it is ending Friday. They say they are doing just fine as they would never ask for anything from anyone. But as any of us could assume- medical, travel, and all of the expenses that come with being away from home and not working, is very stressful. I am starting this fund because I want to help and know others do too. Several people have asked Megan and Todd what they can do to help. If you’d like to donate, any little bit will help them get through this tough time and ease the financial burden.
Thank for all for your continued support in helping Easton get healthy and Megan and Todd some
relief to get through this crazy journey.
I will continue to update as they learn more ❤️
