Fixed Feet for Marion & Isaiah in Ghana

Can you imagine living your whole life with deformed feet so you could only "walk" on tiptoe? That's the case for these children - read on to find out how you can help!
The Logbo family lives in a village in eastern Ghana, near where I used to live.
All 3 children were born with a congenital deformity of their feet, meaning they can only walk on tiptoe. Joshua, the oldest son, completed the series of surgeries and now can walk and run like a normal boy.

Isaiah, the other son, and daughter Marion each need the same set of surgeries and set of special orthopedic shoes their older brother had.
Marion, a precious 2-year-old girl can get around only in a perpetual 'ballerina en pointe' pose on her tiptoes.
Just think how much more joyfully Marion will dance when her feet are fixed so she can walk and run and dance normally!
The Logbo family is part of an evangelical church in the village of Wurupong in the Volta Region of Ghana, and speak the Ewe language. They are friends with Katie Peacock, my long-time colleague in Wycliffe Bible Translators working in Ghana.
With this webpage we are asking 120 people to each donate US $20.00, for a total of US $2,400. When collected, the money will be sent to the family in Ghana via Western Union.
The family will go to a a Catholic Hospital at Koforidua that specializes in orthopedics. They will have to stay there for 3 to 4 months.
Please give generously, and "do unto others as you wish they would do unto you" if your children were born this way and no way to pay for the operations. Be merciful ... and thank you!
