Hi. I'm Matt and I'm 20, it has taken me quite a few months to realise how toxic and damaging to my mental health my family back home has been. It's taken months of therapy, medication, and talking to come to terms with it.
In this time that I've been able to get help, I've been diagnosed with depression, anxiety, CPTSD and some mild psychosis. All have likely been lifelong conditions that treatment was withheld from me by my parents.
My own mother stole from what little money I have, (£50) and now I'm left with £6. I seriously wouldn't be asking if it wasn't serious. My cars off the road due to MOT failure, so I wouldn't be able to get to a job, and I have been looking.
My student finance comes in April and my current rent ends in June, I need money to repair my car, reinsure it and find a new place to rent for the summer or beyond.
This is a terrifying time for me, and I wouldn't be asking for help unless it really was urgent. I appreciate any donations and good wishes, this is a scary time and I thank you for your support.
