Help and prayers for Jeffrey Arthur

As many of you know, our dear friend and Germantown Red Devil, Jeffrey Arthur, was diagnosed with terminal stage 4 metastatic melanoma with multiple lesions in his brain in October of this past year. At the time he was diagnosed, Jeffrey unfortunately was in between jobs leaving him with no insurance. The physicians, nurses and staff at Baptist East hospital during this time, by God’s grace, treated him despite the circumstance.
Over the last several months, Jeffrey has fought one heck of a fight. He has undergone brain surgery to remove two of the lesions. The prognosis from the doctors was that Jeffrey would not be conscious for a few days following this surgery, but in true Jeffrey fashion, he came back from surgery breathing on his own and flirting with the nurses. He has gone through multiple rounds of IV Chemotherapy, switched to daily Chemotherapy and immunotherapy and has had three rounds of radiation to his brain.
Unfortunately, as a result of the chemotherapy, he was hospitalized again at the beginning of February, where emergency surgery was performed and Jeffrey ended up in the ICU for several weeks. During this time, his faith was unwavering and he spoke constantly about spending more time with his daughters, his family and his friends.
He was released from the hospital to return home this past Friday. With no reasonable insurance available and medical treatment exhausted his options have become very limited. Jeffrey requires around the clock care that his family and friends cannot constantly provide. Any physical relief you can provide for the family during this time would be greatly appreciated. I'm sure Jeffrey would love to see you. All monetary contribution will be used to further provide Jeffrey the dedicated care he deserves.
