I am reaching out to you in a time of crisis for hundreds of
thousands of displaced people in the Philippines whose lives have been turned
upside down from Typhoon Haiyan.
A very close family friend of ours has been impacted by this natural disaster - they have lost their home of 20+ years in Ormoc City, Leyte. The family [including six children, and two grandchildren (1 & 2 years old)] are homeless and have been living with minimal food and water over the last few days.
I'm reaching out to my friends as I'd like to assist this family in need by providing immediate funds for food and shelter as well as create a nest egg to assist in rebuilding their home. I appreciate everyone's consideration in this time of great need - any donation amount would be appreciated - a little can go a long way in the PI.
