Sexual assault victim in her marriage to a truck driver: He always told her that something was wrong with her, because she was in agonizing pain when he would shove something inside her body: that other women he had dated before could handle the pain. In June and July she started hemorrhaging and was unable to function, or get out of bed. Almost needed a blood transfusion. In August she had a total hysterectomy, and is waiting on a second surgery to repair the nerve and back damage. She can barely walk and stand, without excruciating pain. She has a trauma therapist and advocate, and is working on filing sexual assault charges. A female state trooper told her that she couldn’t file charges because he was her husband, at the time the assaults happened. He was court ordered to pay alimony to cover drs bills, medications, and for a lawyer. She’s about to lose her home and car, because the medical fees and lawyer fees take most of the money. Please help her find safety and hope again.
