Help A Fellow Indenpdent recuser

Friends, I need all hands on deck for one of my closest friends. Many of you know Jasmin Vasquez, a woman that has been advocating for homeless animals for a few years now. She volunteered for some years with a wonderful rescue, gave her all and has parted ways to rescue on her own. She has been doing independent rescue for the past two years. Oftentimes getting these animals vetted on her own if donations were scarce. She now needs us to stand up for her own babies. As you know she is the proud fur mom of three dogs. Two of those dogs needs immediate medical care. Chelsea is a Maltese that has to have emergency ACL surgery. The 10 year old five pound Maltese is in pain. She is panting and drooling. She has gotten the preliminary blood work done and she thankfully is healthy enough to undergo the surgery. She is also receiving pain management til her surgery to keep her as comfortable as possible. The surgery and X-rays need to be done ASAP. Mia, the five year old Beagle/Amstaff mix had been vomiting for almost a week now. Mia too had blood work and two anti-vomiting injections. That seems to work one day and not the next so she will be needing additional testing to get a diagnosis. Pancreatitis has been suggested by her wonderful vet but it is not a confirmed diagnosis. She will be needing an ultrasound. When I called Jasmin to ask how the vet appointment had gone I was met with a very different Jasmin. She was quite and seemed very down. Anyone that knows her knows she’s always laughing and making others laugh. She has a wicked sometimes off the top sense of humor but that is what keeps her from falling off the cliff. She has an extremely stressful job. She has been working with the public for 20 years. Taking care of humans medical needs while helping animals alike. There has not been one time that I’ve called her that she isn’t talking to me about an animal she is helping with or said no to me when I’ve asked her to partner up with me to help an animal. She is worried , she is scared and she is stressed over not one but two of her dogs being sick. They are all in this world to her. We need to be there for her now the same way she has been there for all the homeless that have needed her and the many more I am sure she will help in the future. There’s no stopping her for sure. When I suggested a fundraiser to Jasmin she declined but I have gone ahead and set it up on my own. I want to help her and I’m sure you will want to help her too. Please consider donating towards helping Chelsea and Mia. She has been quoted $2000 for Chelsea’s surgery plus pain medication and after care and Mia’s ultrasound is around $445 (we are shopping to see if it can be done for less) plus she needs intravenous fluids.
