UW-Stout Men to 7's Nationals

Hi All,
So last week, the UW-Stout Men's Rugby Club submitted an at-large bid into the USA Rugby National Collegiate 7's Tournament in Greensboro, NC and were selected into the 8 team Men's Open division late Sunday evening! This is an amazing opportunity for our club, and a chance for us to represent Stout, the state of Wisconsin, and the Midwest as a whole in a tournament with such high publicity.
It was unfortunate that we were unable to accomplish our goal of making it to Nationals for 15's, but we feel extremely fortunate to be able show what we can bring to the game of 7's, based on our accomplishments from the Spring of 2013.
With such late notice, and the tournament approaching us so quickly (Nov. 23 and 24), we have made a valiant effort in attempting to gain funding from both the University and the WRFU, and they have helped us tremendously.
With travel, lodging, food, shirts, and additional costs of the trip, we estimate that this will be around a $5,000 adventure.
We appreciate ANY and all help we receive from family, friends, alumni, and supporters of the game of rugby, and look forward to representing all of you the best we can!
