Meet Monica: a single mother, who has dedicated most of her adult life to take care of her only child, and to her patients as a licensed nutritionist. She is kind, generous, thoughtful, hard working, and unfortunately has CANCER.

Ingrid Dustman (Monica’s sister) was added as a Beneficiary of the campaign, in order to withdraw the funds in Arizona, were she lives, to transfer all of it to Monica’s Saving Account in Puerto Rico. GoFunMe can’t send funds to Puerto Rico; for that reason Jessica Dustman was added as a Beneficiary; she has a Social Security Number, has a physical US mailing address, a US Bank Account and a US phone number.

Monica Cortés was diagnosed with ovarian cancer last year. After months of chemotherapy, everybody thought the fight was over; that was far from true. Recently she was diagnosed with liver cancer. P.D. My name is Marcos Cortés, Im Monica’s brother. I am an Attorney in San Juan, Puerto Rico. I organized this fundraising for the entire purpose of my sister’s cancer treatment. She needs the money to pay for chemotherapy, which is highly expensive. She needs aproximately 10 or more therapies. Every therapy has a deductible of aproximately $3,000.00.
