Lisa Spalding

As many of you know, Lisa is currently going through chemotherapy for breast cancer. She has suffered one unfortunate event after another.  The treatments are grueling. Once she is done with the "red devil" chemotherapy she will continue to be on  an alternate type of chemo for an additional 12 weeks. Additionally, her BRCA gene tested positive, which means there is a high likelihood of the cancer returning in her breasts, ovaries or pancreas within the next 3-5 years. Once she completes the 12 weeks of chemo, she will have to have a bi-lateral mastectomy, meaning both breasts have to be removed.  Once she recovers from that, she will then be looking at ovary removal. Lisa just started her current job October 2017.  While her employer has been very sympathetic and gracious, Lisa has missed a lot of time from her job. Since she  does not qualify for short term disability, she has had to pay some of  her own insurance premiums in order to maintain an insurance policy. The insurance does not cover all of her treatments so there will be high out-of-pocket expenses along with rent and utility bills that still need to be paid.  Lisa is a wonderful human being and a single mother.....she needs your help.
