Ashton Aid

Donation protected
We are raising money to support the Ashton Family as they deal with an unexpected medical emergency. Scot, husband and father, is a 55 year old Retired U.S. Air Force member. He currently works for Veteran’s Affairs Hospital in Cincinnati Ohio. On February 15, he went into the local hospital with signs of pneumonia. While in there his lungs began to rapidly worsen. At this stage, there were no signs of bacteria or fungus in his lungs. His health deteriorated to the point he flat lined before being loaded into helicopter bound for Ohio State University Medical Center. At this point, they are calling his condition Interstitial Pneumonia along with Pulmonary Fibrosis. The medical staff think this could have been caused from his time working on military aircraft. But, it remains somewhat of a mystery (they will study his lungs once removed during transplant). Now that Scot has gone through the transplant Sunday evening, March 4, the reality is being able to cover all the cost involved. The reality is total cost exceeding 1.4 - 1.5 million dollars. Tricare will cover 75 percent but that still is a lot remaining to pay for the Ashton Family. Scot’s wife and daughter, Leah and Allie, have been staying at a hotel for 2 weeks (because they live in Northern Kentucky area). They will be required to remain local in Columbus for up to 6 months. Every donation is greatly appreciated as we support the Ashton Family through this. The Ashton Family thanks all of you for your prayers and support. God Bless.
