Our Journey To Becoming Parents

Our journey to a family began in 2008 when Tim and I got married. We knew we wanted children right away, so we started trying to add to our family. After five long years with no success, we knew we needed help, so our doctor referred us to an infertility clinic in Moncton New Brunswick. We were hopeful for the easiest solution, but after testing, we were told that we needed a more difficult approach ( which also meant more costly), IVF.

This had put a major strain on our marriage but three years later we grew stronger as a couple and went back to the clinic to proceed with IVF. After two failed attempts of IVF with no success we started to look into other options to have a family. We were contacted and chosen to be recipients for an open relationship for embryo donation.

We have realized it’s time for us to humble ourselves before the Lord and ask for help,allowing friends and family to help financially. We believe Jesus is our provider and by doing this we are trusting that God will supply all of our needs.

One thing that we have learned along the way is we are not meant to do this alone. Community is so important. We are meant to have a relationship with God and others. People are Gods greatest gift.
