Please Help Daniel McCollum

Most of you already know, Daniel McCollum and Mariah Myrick. But, for those of you that don’t let me explain their story. About 5 months ago Daniel was diagnosed with Juvenile Polyposis Syndrome (JPS) at the age of 33, which is a disease that causes polyps to grow in your digestive tract and has the potential to form into tumors and become malignant. Unfortunately this happened to Daniel. After being diagnosed he went through extensive radiation therapy and had to take chemo pills during that therapy. Which everyone who has been through or has a loved one that went through this knows it’s no easy task with the constant illness and doctor appointments. Luckily Daniel has Mariah that’s been with him through all of this. When he completed the treatments in December they decided to go through with a procedure to remove his rectum and resect the malignant area. This surgery is scheduled for March, 23rd. Depending on how the surgery goes, Daniel may have to continue chemo treatments after he’s healed from the procedure. Anyone who knows Daniel and Mariah knows they’re amazing, loving, and the most loyal friends a person could ask for. The fact that they’re too humble and modest is why I’m writing this and reaching out to everyone who knows and loves them or maybe just wants to help out. Daniel is insured, but the way medical insurance has been letting down most of their members when they need it most, most of his procedure and treatments aren’t covered.
