Home Care For The Elderly

I will try to make this as less boring as possible.. Approximately 3yrs ago my mother (Patty Robillard) went in for a routine back surgery that was suppose to be in and out in 4-5 days. Low and behold, it was botched and spent 96 days in hospital and when she came out, she needed a wheelchair. As of a year ago, she was able to get around as much as possible by walker and cane. Not very well to say the least. She lost 60lbs cause she wasn't able to get the cooking she needed to give her the calorie intake for her daily energy. She has applied over and over for home care and help from the province but there's loopholes the government keeps finding to make her jump through hoops. As of Sunday February 25 2018, she had a fall. Well.... She fell so bad she not only broke her hip, but, broke her femur so bad that her leg wrapped all the way around facing backwards. Now she's lying in a hospital bed for who knows how long doing physio. Well, her pension isn't enough to cover the homecare needed for the amount needed for. She will be sent home soon and financially she barely has the income to cover the nessecities let alone the extras needed to take care of her. I work full time and I don't make enough money to help with that much. I can only help with what I can afford myself. So... I plead, a nickle, dime, quarter.... anything to help me with my mother and the care she needs. I wanna thank you all in advance and I would be honoured to keep u all updated with the progress.
