Mission Trip to Puerto Rico

I wanted to take a moment to let you know about a really exciting opportunity my daughter and I have coming up this Summer. We, along with a group of students and adults from my church, will be going on a trip to Puerto Rico to participate in Hurricane Relief work.  In the Summer of 2017 Puerto Rico was devastated by 2 storms that swept across the Island.  Schools were damaged, homes were lost and much of the Island is still without power today.  There is so much work to be done and we're excited about the opportunity to participate in some of what’s already happening there to bring relief to people that call Puerto Rico home. While we are in Puerto Rico, we’ll have an opportunity to take part in several things from small construction and clean up projects to doing outreach in communities and bringing food and water to people in need alongside others who are already doing great work there. The trip will take place July 29th through August 4th 2018. A great way you can partner is through prayer.  Please pray that our team would be able to raise all of the money that we need for the trip, pray that we’d be able to do some really incredible work and impact the lives of people that we meet, pray for our health and safety as we go to people and communities in Puerto Rico and pray for safe travels there and back.  In addition, I am trying to raise $2000.00 which will cover our airfare, lodging and supplies for the duration of our trip.  Ever since my daughter was 8 years old she dreamed about participating in a missions trip and I'm looking forward to sharing this experience with her.
