Help Isabella Study Abroad In Japan!

Thank you so much for visiting my page. I am thankful that you took the time out of your day to get to know me and my passion for languages. Some of you may or may not know this passion that I already have. Growing up in California, with an already diverse background, I have been able to experience various amount of cultures. Because of my mother’s background, in the military, this has allowed me to venture outside of my comfort zone. I was able to live in Japan for only two years, but i was not able to fully immerse myself in the culture. This small time being there sparked my interest not only in the Japanese language but the culture and history as well. My name is Isabella Pardo, I am currently a junior at Swansboro High school. I am involved in the foreign language club at my school and I hope I can share my experiences with everyone. I have always wanted to dive into another culture that is completely different from my own. With this study abroad trip, I will be able to do just that. I have been studying Japanese for about a year now. I have been extremely focused on learning the language, so that when I finally go to Japan, i’ll be able to fully explore unknown territory. I have worked as a servers assistant at this cute restaurant on Emerald Isle in North Carolina. Unfortunately, the amount I have saved up so far is not enough for my trip abroad. I’m also applying to many scholarships in order to pursue this wonderful opportunity I have been given. So, I have made this account in order to pursue this dream of mine.
