Ayuda a la Prof. Rosalba a curarse

La Prof. Rosalba Maldonado de López (mi madre) es una de las profesionales más capacitadas y talentosas de la Educación Especial en Venezuela, habiendo tenido bajo su cargo a innumerables alumnos durante su tiempo como Maestra Especialista en el I.E.E. Gustavo Sánchez Romero, así como también en su práctica privada. Solidaria y consciente de su papel, nunca le negó su apoyo y ayuda a quienes más lo han necesitado, no importando su condición económica ni el tiempo que le pudiera tomar. Ha sido y es una de las maestras más queridas por sus alumnos y mejor recordadas.
Sin embargo, ella ahora necesita ayuda; los médicos acaban de diagnosticarle lesiones de naturaleza cancerígena en los huesos de ambos brazos, la costilla izquierda, el pulmón y la cadera, producto de un Mieloma IgA. Ella está haciendo todo el esfuerzo posible por curarse, pero el tratamiento es costoso y difícil de obtener en Venezuela, más allá incluso de los medios que nosotros, su familia, le podemos proporcionar.
Con tu aporte a su fondo de salud estarás contribuyendo con:
1- Costos de los diferentes exámenes y reactivos que se necesitan continuamente para monitorear su salud y diagnosticarla adecuadamente.
2- Costos de potenciales cirugías necesarias para remover los tumores (la primera ya fue presupuestada en $8000) y obtener biopsias que permitan diagnosticar con precisión.
3- Costos de Medicinas y tratamientos, teniéndose que buscar muchos de ellos fuera de Venezuela.
4- Manutención y transporte. Dado su estado de salud, se le complica mucho trabajar como lo viene haciendo desde hace más de 40 años.
Como los fondos deben ser en dólares para garantizar que no pierdan valor, dada la situación de Venezuela, el dinero será recaudado por mí y mi hermana en USA y Argentina y transferido directamente a los doctores, laboratorios, clínicas y hospitales que la atiendan para pagar por sus cuentas. Asimismo, estaremos procurandole a ella y a mi padre alimentos y medicinas de difícil acceso en Venezuela, pero que para nosotros en USA, Argentina y México nos es más fácil conseguir. Estaremos publicando los recibos de cada pago en actualizaciones periódicas, de tal manera que todos quienes nos ayuden sepan con certeza en qué se ha gastado su aporte.

Prof. Rosalba Maldonado de López is one of the most qualified and talented professionals in Special Education in Venezuela, having had under her charge innumerable students during her time as a S.E. Teacher in the I.E.E. Gustavo Sánchez Romero, as well as in her private practice. Social conscious and aware of her role, she never denied her support and help to those who needed it the most, regardless of their economic condition or the time it could take her. She has been and is one of the most beloved and best remembered teachers for her students .
However, she now needs help; The doctors have just diagnosed her with cancerous lesions in the bones of both arms, the left rib, the lung and the hip as a consequence of a IgA Myeloma. She is making every effort to cure herself, but the treatment is expensive and difficult to obtain in Venezuela, even beyond the means of her family.
With your contribution to her health fund you will be contributing with:
1- Costs of the different tests and reagents that are needed continuously to monitor her health and diagnose her adequately.
2- Costs of potential surgeries needed to remove the tumors (the first one was already budgeted at $ 8000) and obtain biopsies that allow to diagnose accurately.
3- Costs of medicines and treatments, having to look for many of them outside of Venezuela.
4- Maintenance and transportation. Given her state of health, it is very difficult for her to work as she has been doing it for more than 40 years.
As the funds gathered must be in dollars to guarantee that they do not lose value, given the situation in Venezuela, the money will be collected by me and my sister in the USA and Argentina and transferred directly to the doctors, laboratories, clinics and hospitals that attend her to pay for her bills. Likewise, we will be providing her and my father with food and medicines that are difficult to get in Venezuela, but for us in the US, Argentina and Mexico it is easier to obtain.
