Hello I am Reina, currently living in San Antonio, Texas. Being born and raised in the Philippines (Cebu) this tragic calamity broke my heart and my fellow Filipinos. Recently a typhoon hit our country, Super Typhoon Haiyan (also known as Super Typhoon Yolanda) tore through the Philippines Friday (November 8,2013), flattening entire neighborhoods, washing away homes and buildings, cutting power and scattering debris for miles. The massive typhoon, one of the worst storms ever recorded, affected more than 4.28 million people in 270 towns and cities. The hardest hit region of the Philippines was Leyte Island followed by Bantayan Island. The typhoon left them NOTHING! These people badly need our help, every penny counts. I am knocking in your humble hearts to please donate any amount you can. Money will be used to buy relief goods, medicines, tents, candles, matches and any basic needs we can donate. Including your prayers we can all do this! "These all shall pass". Thank you!
