Post-Yolanda: Supporting Filipinos

One of the most powerful typhoons ever recorded has recently struck the Philippines. While Anne's family has not been directly impacted (thankfully), there are thousands that have no food or drinking water, missing family members, and are displaced without a home. In the wake of this catastrophic event, our streams across various social media channels are filled with expressions of concern and reminders that we should all "count our blessings."
Seeing the aftermath, Antoine and I are inspired to not only count our blessings, but to share them as well. I hope you'll join us.
We are attempting to raise money to help provide relief for those in the Philippines that have been impacted by the typhoon. All proceeds will go to the Philippine Red Cross (According to CNN, the Philippine Red Cross has been successful in getting relief directly into the impacted areas).
If you're compelled to support Antoine and I on this personal charity effort, you can do so by clicking on the purple button labeled "Donate" located on the right hand side of the page. There is no such thing as too small of a donation. Every penny counts.
Because the needs are so dire and immediate, we are only leaving this page up until November 24, 11:59 pm PT -- please make your donations on or before then.Whatever we are able raise through this effort, we will personally match up to $500. Through our respective company's Gift Matching Program, the amount we raise will then be matched again. This means, all proceeds will at least be doubled through this effort.
In times like this, Mother Teresa says it best,
"If you can't feed a hundred people, then feed just one."
We can all do our part in helping restore the Philippines -- and humanity, one penny at a time.
