Help Send Franny to Rwanda!

In August 2014, I am going to New Hope Homes in Rwanda. New Hope Homes is a permanent orphanage in western Rwanda that currently is home to about 30 kids. My friend Alice and I have been fundraising for tuition for three students (Sala, Mwami, and Mbabazi) for two years. I became interested in Rwanda my freshman year in my AP Human Geography class. I'm now a junior at Southwest High School and I'd love the chance to see Rwanda and hear people's stories. I think it's a fascinating place with how the people of Rwanda have been rebuilding after the genocide. One of the things that impresses me the most about the Rwandan people has been their ability for reconciliation and forgiveness. My long term goal is to study global and maternal health, and potentially become a midwife. It's been a dream of mine to be able to go and help in the orphanage and work with the kids and give them lots and lots of hugs! The money raised would help pay for airfare, vaccinations, and minimal living expenses. I'm asking for the help of friends, family, and anyone interested in Rwanda. I would be deeply appreciative of any contributions, big or small. Thank you so much!!
