My Battle At Fraggle Rock

My battle started when I was diagnosed with Ductal Carcinoma In Situ February 2018, just couple weeks shy from my 40th Birthday. I am at the half way point of my battle. I had a double mastectomy with reconstruction in April and returned to work full time at 5 weeks post op. I missed 5 full weeks of work and still miss work periodically due to recovery and Doctor appointments. I have a 2nd surgery scheduled for July 11 and will be out from work without pay for at least another 5 weeks. My wonderful sister and brother-in-law helped our family out a little for my first surgery but I can’t expect that again. All of my bills are in past due, I’ve made payments but never enough to pay in full for couple months. The Oregon SNAP program was able to help us with food benefits so at least we have that. Since I’m anticipating another long period without income and we are already feeling the pinch I’m putting away my pride and asking for help. Donations will help my family pay our utilities, mortgage, insurance, fuel to travel to Portland, doctor co-pays and any out of pocket expenses from the various surgeons, hospital, Anesthesiologist, prescriptions that my insurance doesn’t cover. You help will make my difficult battle a little less stressful. Thank you
