Gus Lamen

Gus has been through a lot! Please read the journal entry for more details of his horrific accident and his battle to regain his independence. The campaign is being mounted to secure some important pieces of equipment to help keep him strong. The FES (FUNCTIONAL ELECTRICAL STIMULATION) BIKE is not available here in the Bay area. The bike helps stimulate muscles, increase circulation, improve muscle tone and prevent contractions. The STANDING BIKE helps increase his postural circulation, improves his blood pressure, and stretches his legs. If we can, we'd also like to include adaptive driving lessons, licensing, as well as modifications to his truck, and a lift for his wheelchair as well. Gus will need these for driving so he can hit the road and his job! PLEASE CONTRIBUTE! Medical expenses have mounted and to be able to help Gus achieve his goal of living his life independently is something we can do together!
