Philip Rosheger's Memorial Fund

With Philip's untimely death on Dec 4th, 2013 we want to expand this fund as a celebration of his life and music. Philip died tragically and too soon. He still had so much to do and to create musically. His legacy of creative thinking and his music continue to impact many around the world. Our focus will now go toward two goals: a Memorial Concert in the San Francisco area - hopefully sometime this spring; Publication of some of Philip's music as well as reviving copies of some of his past CD's. Some of you are already behind the scenes helping us organize for these goals. We can't thank you enough. We may have practical limitations on how many can perform or which ideas we can successfully pursue but we promise to do our very best to honor Philip through you - his friends, students, and colleagues. We welcome your participation and sharing your remembrances of Philip. We hope to outreach to others who knew Philip and his music to help us create a joyous memorial concert and to continue spreading Philip's music to others who have yet to discover it.

Philip's family thanks you from the bottom of our hearts for the help and donations you have already so graciously given and extended on behalf of Philip. Out of our tragedy, we are blessed to have discovered a new family in all of you. We are getting to know so many of you and it helps soothe the terrible pain at losing Philip. We are forever indebted to those of you who helped us literally at Philip's bedside, who supported and continue to support us in so many ways through this very difficult time. We truly feel that, through you, we've discovered so much more about our Philip's life and the positive impact he had on others. We are forever touched and changed by all of you who have given us the ultimate gift of showing what Philip's life and music truly meant.
