Biker Bob's Medical Help Fund
My father, Bob Granger, was in a brutal motorcycle accident last Sunday, February 18th 2018. He was riding on the Paulding side of 92 and was hit by another vehicle. Dad was thrown off of his bike, and immediate injuries occurred. His beloved Harley is totaled, and his battle just beginning. Dad was flown by helicopter to Grady in downtown Atlanta. The tests and xrays that were ran showed that my father had: a broken arm, broken leg, broken ribs, broken pelvis, broken bones in his back, fractured hip, bleeding spleen, severe concussion, and a lung that had deflated at some point in time. He was admitted to the ICU floor and this miraculous journey began. Today, Sunday February 25th, dad has been in ICU for a week. So far they have done surgeries (a total of around 13 hours) that included nuero, ortho, uro. During the next week he will endure another ortho and vascular as well as beginning speech therapy. Dad has made miraculous improvements in the last week, but still has a long road ahead of him. After his stay at Grady he will be spending time at a rehabilitation center where he will undergo physical therapy. We all know how costly medical expenses can be, and it is far from over for him. I set up this page to try and offset the costs that insurance can't completely cover. Thank you for taking time to read this, and for caring. And if you feel so inclined to donate to his fund - thank you. God Bless, #teamgranger ☀
