This fund is being created to help the family of Duane Hargis.
Today we lost one of our dearest. He was a friend, brother, son, father, cousin, uncle... and he was amazing. He loves his family, he loved music. Duane was smart, loving, slick, and such a talented soul. He was a charmer, a jokester, a mentor, and pretty easy on the eyes too.
So many of us have memories engrained within us that we will never forget him. Personally, Listening to fine jazz is one of those things that brings memories flooding back. He bonded, tutored, and inspired so many people. Touched so many lives. While we are currently uncertain of what the next step is going to be, there is no doubt that it will be costly.
Duane’s passing was completely unexpected and has sent shockwaves throughout. Anything helps and is truly appreciated. Once arrangements have been finalized, I will post an update to the top of this story.
