Help my mom Velina fight ASL!

My mother is 59-years old and she was diagnosed with Leu Gehrig's disease two years ago. This is neuro- muscular disease that is progressive, and there is no cure for it right now. The disease frequently begins in your hands, feet or limbs, and then spreads to other parts of your body. As the disease advances, your muscles become progressively weaker until they're paralyzed. It eventually affects chewing, swallowing, speaking and breathing. The person eventually dies because of paralyzed diaphragm.

My mother's health is worsening with every day. Her right hand muscle is completely wasted and she has hard time walking. Despite of her multiple falls in the past; she was trying to work full time until she broke her wrist in the beginning of November, 2013. She needs surgery and she has $800 to pay out her pocket. She also would need much more cares and medical supplies that she can't really afford in the future.
People often say that mother are the best teacher in the world. Over the years, I have come to know that it couldn't be truer. I am thankful of her for being best mother and theacher in the whole world. I don't know any as stronger and as genuine person than her. She is example for each of us.

I wish they could find cure for this terrible condition!
I am hoping that we would be able to raise enough money for medical supplies and expenses.
