Kidney/Pancreas Transplant Fund

Five weeks ago today my life changed completely. I find myself thanking God on a daily just for this chance at something I never thought I'd have - a sense of freedom. I wanted so many things for my life and for a long time the diabetes held me back from what I could do and then the renal failure really put a kink in my plans. Wendi and I had been married almost a year when I got sick and this has been a true test of our love and commitment to each other. It's pretty cool that we now are beginning a whole new chapter - who knew when we set out for Art in the Park on May 18th we'd be sitting in our new little apartment in Scottsdale on June 23rd. Life is kind of funny that way. We're learing to take things in stride, I'm proud of her for getting a job so quickly here and hopefully I will have one soon. Until then we are just learning to live again, a bit more carefree than before all this. We have each other and our dogs and the love of our family and friends. AND I have a kidney and pancreas! thanks to those of you who are keeping up with my story and progression - I can feel the love. A huge thank you to those who have donated so generously and if any of you feel moved to give it would help - otherwise likes, comments, love and support keep the spirit going.

P.S. for those of you who are giving - this is a tax deductable contribution and the funds go toward the cost of my medical care, anit-rejection drugs, healthcare premiuims and co-pays, transplants are bad ass, but not cheap!
