YWAM in the Netherlands!

A few weeks ago, the Lord spoke to me and told me to take a
leave of absence next semester. My reaction was: a momentary shock, immediate
agreement, and nervous excitement. I started praying into it, and the thought
of taking a leave of absence would not leave my mind. I also felt strongly that
the purpose of the leave of absence would be to do a YWAM (Youth With a
Mission) DTS (Discipleship Training School). I had always wondered whether I
would ever do a DTS or not, but it seemed like God was saying, "Now's the time!"
I looked into the many YWAM bases around the world, and the Lord led me to Heidebeek's Mercy and Justice DTS in the Netherlands. This is a six month DTS with a focus on mercy ministries and learning about God's character of mercy and justice. There will be three months of classroom teaching and three months of missions somewhere else in the world. He confirmed my leave of absence, the Heidebeek base, and the specific school in so many ways and gave me peace and faith to make my decision! All the necessary forms are turned in, I have my plane ticket to the Netherlands, and am now beginning my fundraising process.
I want to ask you to support me on this trip to the Netherlands. I believe that God will be completing my healing process, strengthening my identity as a royal bride and treasured daughter, and doing more than I could ever imagine or ask for during the three month lecture phase. I don't even know what to expect of the missions trip, but I am very excited to say the very least! I have to raise $10,000 which will include the housing, food, travels, missions, lecture phase, etc.
I am so excited to see God's faithfulness in the fundraising process. Every time my mind tries to worry (because it thinks it should!), my Spirit asks me, "Why are you worrying?" God is guarding my heart with so much peace; it is incredible. It is also very interesting to see my mind trying to fight the peace, because it doesn't think that I should be at peace, having to fundraise $10,000 in a month. However, because it was God who spoke to me about doing a DTS in this next season of my life, I am also confident that He will provide for me.
