Helping Alberto's Girls

Suddenly, on Tuesday, February 20th, Adalberto Granados passed away. His beloved wife, Laura, and his beautiful daughters, Lyla, 3 years and Eva, 8 months, will now have to continue on life's journey without their most precious treasure, their "Beto". Our entire family is in shock and heartbroken. Alberto was a loving, kind, welcoming and helpful man. Laura and Alberto's door was always open to family and friends, no matter what was going on in their lives. They'd welcome us with food, drinks, conversation and always a good laugh. Alberto would never shy away from lending a helping hand to whoever needed it and he was a tremendous source of comfort for his family and friends when they needed a hug or simply someone to listen. He made us all laugh and was always telling jokes. My heart is breaking as I write this...no words can explain the pain. Alberto's girls, Laura, Lyla and Eva were his everything. His mother, father and sisters were his foundation. His nieces, nephew and extended family brought him much joy and comfort. His friends were very special to him and allowed him to create beautiful memories. Unfortunately, Alberto's unexpected, tragic death leaves Laura and his girls without more than their adored husband and father; Alberto had no life insurance and little savings. Laura is currently on maternity leave and so her income is limited. As his family and friends, we can offer support to Alberto's girls, just as he would have done for any of us.
