Russ Wilmot Cancer Fund

In January 2018 Russ was diagnosed with inoperable Gallbladder and Liver cancer. The only treatments available in the U.S. are chemo/radiation therapy, which are designed to extend his life a year or so. Friends of Russ had great success using alternative medicine in Mexico. Russ would like to try this alternative medicine but it is very expensive and is not covered by Medicare or his military insurance, Tricare for Life. The treatments will be done at the BioCare Hospital in Mexico. BioCare Hospital focuses on treating each person in a way that is best suited for their illness. Their main goal is to enhance the body’s natural ability to fight the cancer. Every treatment used is unique to the individual. Russ is a 27-year active duty Air Force veteran with an additional 11 years service as an Army civilian. The $28,000 needed will be used to cover the cost of the treatment. Travel expenses roundtrip from Alaska to Mexico will be paid for by Russ.
