Kevin Simpson Cancer Fund

Hello everyone! We are re-opening this page to help Kevin and the Simpson family once again. We all thought we were in the clear of this damn cancer. We had a really great couple of months, then the unthinkable hit us like a train. Kevin started having blurry vision, couldn't catch his balance, and his memory wasn't as on point as it usually is. Chrissy, his amazing wife, took him into the emergency room to see what was going on. After having a scan of his brain done we were told that the cancer from his lungs had spread to his brain. It is located in a spot called the pons, which is located in the brainstem and leaves it inoperable. They started radiation treatment the week of September 22nd. Today more bad news got thrown our way, we were told that they think it is more than likely the cancer has spread to more of his body, and they say he has a week to a month to live. They are going to continue with the radiation and, God willing, if it sticks we will get a max of 2 years left with this incredible man. At this point there is no way to run furthur tests/scans to see if it has for certain spread to more of his body, all we can do is hope and pray that it has not, and that the radiation will kick cancers butt once again.
