The Leonard Enz Family Fund
Donation protected
In late 2012 Lenny Enz and his family received news that no one ever expects to hear. Lenny was diagnosed with Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), the most aggressive type of brain tumor a person can have. Within a few weeks of diagnosis, Len had surgery to remove the tumor. As a self-employed architect, he continued to work following his surgery to provide for his family: his wife Susan and their children Michael (9), Heidi (4), twin girls Hanna and Gretchen (2). Despite surgical efforts, chemotherapy and radiation, the tumor quickly grew back leaving Len with speech and balance difficulties and more frequent seizures. A second surgery to remove the growing tumor was done this fall but this time Len would not make it out of the hospital and back home to Susan and the kids. Len lost his battle this afternoon about 2 p.m. surrounded by his family. This is an extremely difficult time for the Enz family, a husband and father taken from his family too young. Any financial contribution to the Enz family is deeply appreciated.
