Anna's Volunteering in Argentina

I am hoping to spend 2 weeks in Cordoba, Argentina this summer on a Human Rights and Spanish volunteering programme organized by Projects Abroad. This will give me the opportunity to work alongside people living in poor communities and help overcome some of the hurdles people face everyday as a result of poverty. As a volunteer on this project, I would educate children about social equality, make young prisoners aware of their basic rights, and work on a project advocating for homeless people, among other things.I feel that this will be challenging but hugely rewarding. It will further my interest in human rights and law which I am thinking of pursuing in the future, at the same time improve my Spanish skills! To enable me to achieve this, I need to raise about £3000 to cover the Projects Abroad fees, flights, equipment, and vaccinations. I am using my earnings from part-time work as well doing a sponsored swim and run, cake sales and other local fundraising events.Even a small amount will get me one step closer to my goal, so any donations will be much appreciated- thank you in advance for any support!
