Help Rebuild Lives After the Flood Disaster

Raven and Steve are the definition of people who step up to support others. Whether it's their community, their family, their friends (or their friends who have become family) they routinely show up. Unfortunately, now they need our support back. After the devastating floods that hit Asheville and Marshall this last weekend Raven and Steve returned to the home they spent years creating to find it largely destroyed. They are working through the wreckage but recovery from this is going to be a long time coming.

Like many folks these two have deeply impacted my life in a positive way. And I wanted to find a way to help, even from across the country. After asking for permission I've created this GoFundMe to try and collect funds for them that will help with the transition and the difficult road back to normal. Anything people can contribute is appreciated; a few dollars, encouraging words, good energy - all are needed.

You all have been amazing!! Thank you so much for your support. If you are friends with Raven on facebook you have seen some of the work being done to try and reclaim things. If you are not then I'm guessing you have seen pictures of the damage in the area on the news. I'm planning to leave this up for a little longer just in case their needs change in the coming weeks.
