My Scholarship Pageant

Dear Family and Friends,As a Sophomore at Sacred Heart Academy, I pride myself in being a leader both in and outside the classroom. Along with being a member of my school's 2017 KHSAA Regional championship cheerleading team, I also currently serve as coach for the Chenoweth Elementary cheerleading team alongside three of my classmates. I was selected to be an Ambassador for my school, which challenges me to recruit incoming freshmen, conduct school tours for prospective students and visit surrounding middle schools to tell student and parents about what Sacred Heart has to offer. As a member of my schools diversity club, I hope to soon launch Sacred Heart's first Black Student Union. Outside of school, I am a member of my church's youth choir, The Next Generation, where I serve as treasurer and also enjoy honing my skills as a makeup artist.As a way of raising money for college, I will be participating in a scholarship pageant As a participant, I have the opportunity to receive a college scholarship based on the amount of funds raised, performance of talent, academic excellence and participation in workshops/group activities. This program assists in the holistic development of all participants by engaging them in public service initiatives, etiquette seminars, career and leadership development activities and much more.
