Look Twice Save a Knight

Donation protected
I am Chris Knight Sr., a military service member who lost his only son and a few brother in arms due to others that fail to Look Twice for bikers and motorcycle enthusiasts on public roadways. The Details - I lost my Son, Chris Knight Jr., due to a motorcycle accident. Two days later, another service member that I serve with lost his only son and 400ft away from where my son lost his life. Both were hit by another motorist. They rode with each other a few times through a group of friends, but did not really get a chance to know one another. I want all of our friends and family members that ride to come back safe after every ride.

I am requesting others consider donating to “Look Twice Save a Knight” to assist me in bringing awareness to motorist about sharing the road with bikers and motorcycle enthusiast. I want to do more to bring awareness to motorists in hopes to reduce tragic accidents of motorcyclists and anything that automobiles must share the road with. The right tools are things that bring people together. I have great tools to start spreading the word, cars and motorcycles. I have a unique car and his bike to open the dialogue that will lead into the message, Look Twice, Save a Knight.

How - Provide Education and awareness training and or briefing to motorist, truckers, bikers and other that share the road. This will be done in multiple forums such as videos on my YouTube page, classroom briefings to drivers and truckers in driver education, and Car and Motorcycle events. One of the major lead ins and dialogue starter I would use at the events is my 1 of 357 White 1994 Toyota Supra Turbos that I had been planning to build and restore before giving it to my Son. The car is the same year he was born and my plan was always to give it to him. If my goal is met, I plan is to attend different types of events and education platforms with the Supra and my son’s motorcycle as the ice breaker or led in to this message campaign to generate interest. Other forms of awareness would be briefing blocks to driver’s training classes and YouTube videos to point out safe riding habits for both motorist and biker.

I want to share the life of my son and what the Chris Knight Jr. family and other families deal with everyday due to tragic bicycle, motorcycle and other vehicle accidents that take their life. To move forward from the loss, most need to do something positive. Out of loss, I’m struggling to figure out how I move on with a future that’s now lost. With the love we both shared for anything that has wheels, I continue to gravitate towards the things we both enjoyed, Cars and Motorcycles, but these thing require financial support. I have the car that was to be his one day and his motorcycle as a lead into the “Look Twice Save a Knight” message campaign. My son borrowed a friend’s motorcycle the day of the accident. His bike was in the shop for scheduled maintenance, which was one of the blessing out of this tragedy. Looking for the positives out of negative is hard when it’s in your face everyday. This one allowed me to have his most prized possession other than the love for his family and friends. I don’t want anyone to go through what we have been through.

What is Look Twice, Save a Knight.

The “Look Twice” represents the motorists that are responsible for ensuring they do not endanger the lives of others while operating a 3,000lbs plus machine. The requirement to ensure the path they choose to travel on and through is clear of others. To look for and share the road with others.

The “Save” represents safeguarding others on the road from your actions or inactions.

The “Knight” represents the loss of my son and the loss of brave and honorable bikers that would give the shirt off their back to help others. Their intentions are mostly honorable and giving in nature. The Knight rides the modern day Iron, Aluminum, Carbon Graphite horse into and through the war of traffic to find a life of cohesion, excitement, and enjoyment. I’m asking other to support my efforts. The funding provided will:
1) Provide the means to assist in starting the education program.
2) Build/Restore a Supra for show
3) Prepare Chris Jr’s Motorcycle for Show
4) Transport Trailer for equipment
5) Entrance Fees for events projected for 2019+.

I have funds to get 1/2 of what’s needed to start the project, but need some assistance to complete the project and launch the “Look Twice Save a Knight” message campaign.

Thanks,
Chris Knight Sr.
