Raising Funds For Financial hardship

Hello my name is Derek Godfrey an I'm trying to raise money for financial hardship In January of 2016 I was layed off from my job an at time I also noticed a bump on the left side of my tongue I thought nothing of it I guess ..most men shrug it off ;an in February of 2016 the bump on my tongue grew double in size I finally went to the doctor; which forwarded me to a specialist in march 17 an that's when my life an my wife's life changed I was diagnosed with tongue cancer An on April 12 2017 I had surgery which took 11 hrs to perform was the most terrifying experience of my life I spent the next two weeks in the hospital with tubes an monitors connected... my wife by side most of the time spending nights sleeping on a chair beside me I'm so grateful to have her in my life an her support the next few months was a very tough time mentally and physically I was on ei but then I had to go to medical ei which on last 6 weeks In July an august I did my chemotherapy an radiation did I mention they had to remove 4 back teeth due to the radiation another great moment an I'm scared to death of the dentist After the treatments the recovery has been nothing but hell; I couldn't eat for awhile an when I say eat I mean liquids I'm on shakes or thin soups or boost I've lost 100 pounds since April but I pushing forward I'm very grateful for being alive an the love an support from friends an family. My wife works so hard to keep us a float working extra shifts making an selling beads I feel so helpless but I have to stay positive to further my cause in healing so one day I can get back to work Your donations will go towards bills ..groceries. .an help with rent , I'm very grateful for you taking the time to read this an if you can donate Thank you Please forward the message I'm truly thankful for your time Derek Godfrey
